Killa Aali Palace
"About - Set on the tranquil banks of the Kharasrota River, Killa Aali Palace is one of Odisha's oldest living royal residences. Established in 1590 AD, this heritage palace blends over four centuries of royal history with serene riverfront landscapes, warm hospitality and easy access to some of Odisha's finest natural and archaeological treasures.
History - Founded by Raja Ram Chandra Deva, the eldest son of Gajapati Mukunda Deva, the last independent ruler of Kalinga, Killa Aali Palace has remained home to the royal family for over 425 years across 19 generations. Expanded over the centuries, the palace reflects a harmonious blend of Odishan architecture and regional influences. Today, it is lovingly preserved by Raja Braj Keshari Deb and Rani Himantika Kumari Devi, who continue to safeguard its remarkable legacy."
